How to Celebrate International Beer Day
Visit your local purveyor of adult beverages and purchase a case of beer from each of the 193 member states in the United Nations. Rent a conference room at the nearest airport Hilton. Invite friends, family, and colleagues to participate in a Model UN of your own devising. Distribute the beer among participating nations, accordingly. As the day wears on and your guests become increasingly inebriated, formulate solutions to the gravest challenges facing the world today – climate change, food scarcity, gender inequality, economic inequality, overpopulation, etc. At day’s end, share your findings with a grateful world at large and offer one final toast to a brighter future. This is the power of beer.
